Having stayed in the cement cities for most of my life, I got excited when vivek pointed me the rainbow, which from that angle , appeared to sit on the head of the girls hostel or to put it in a better way it was crowning the stars of manipal!!

Thousand pillars temple in moodbidri

Moodbidri is approx. 35 kms from mangalore.Its a small town, basically famous for being worship place for Jains. 1000 pillars temple with 2.5 meters tall sculpture of the god chandranantha swami , is probably the oldest and has been the main interest of tourists.

Manipal is never a dull and boring place. The place is usually buzzing with activity and this week wasn't any different. This was the week leading to the grand Convocation and the place was lit up in an extremely beautiful, though environment-unfriendly way.

Cheese sandwich

Being a doc, I am quite aware of the importance of regular hygienic food consumption but I myself is not following my knowledge this days.Due to frequent fasting due to 'shravanmas' and untimely 'garba' practice my food habits are altered very severely.I happen to eat Maggie at 10 30 in the night followed immediately by a cup of tea or coffee-a very odd combination!!Not only that but I have become very choosy also.Today I didn't take my lunch in spite of ample of time be cause I was desperate to eat cheese sandwich but didn't get company for that!And i won't have anything else till I get a good cheese sandwich!!So see how good my determination is!(Actually my determination requires immediate termination)
