Posted by Dr. Prabhav Trivedi On Thursday, December 18, 2008Moodbidri is approx. 35 kms from mangalore.Its a small town, basically famous for being worship place for Jains. 1000 pillars temple with 2.5 meters tall sculpture of the god chandranantha swami , is probably the oldest and has been the main interest of tourists.

This was the week leading to the grand Convocation and the place was lit up in an extremely beautiful, though environment-unfriendly way.
