Manipal is never a dull and boring place. The place is usually buzzing with activity and this week wasn't any different. This was the week leading to the grand Convocation and the place was lit up in an extremely beautiful, though environment-unfriendly way.

As said in the previous posts, me and some other gujju friends were preparing to present garba on the very famous function Kelly's night.kelly's night basically a function for The Onam-a very auspicious keralite festival.

In the auditions this Saturday, though performed quite well, we weren't dead sure of being selected- considering comparable performance by other groups.A group of girls presented a charming dance on a well known song 'mehbooba' from bolleywood's biggest hit 'sholey' and we had real fear of being outperformed by them but ultimate luck was in our favour.A reason which I could scoop out was that 'A dance on movie song or a western dance will be under prioritised when it comes to traditional function
